What about Covid-19?

Some folks may have questions about how the Covid-19 pandemic impacts pool planning, construction, and operation. The impact of the pandemic on our community is something that all district commissioners have on top of our minds as we all live here and have friends, family, and colleagues who are struggling given the challenges of the past year - we are working on balancing this understanding while still working to fulfill the public's mandate to build a community pool in the most fiscally sustainable manner.

The District is committed to following the best practices and guidance from our local, county, state, and federal health professionals during planning, construction, and eventual operation of the pool. Given current trajectories, the District is hopeful that vaccines will be broadly available before the pool is open for business.
